The holiday season is in full swing. If you’re still searching for the perfect present for that special someone, consider Adopt a Farm Animal!
For a one-time donation of $30, you can symbolically adopt one of three special Farm Sanctuary rescued residents, Maggie goat, Junip Sydney pig, or Templeton rooster — a great way to honor their lives and farm animals just like them.

Maggie, unlike most farm animals, has never known anything but kindness and care. After her then-pregnant mother Olive’s rescue from a backyard butcher, Maggie was born in safety at Farm Sanctuary’s New York Shelter. Here, she spends her days playing with abandon, never far from her doting mom’s side. |

Junip Sydney was born at a petting zoo that worked in collaboration with a meat-industry farm. When she failed to thrive, caring foster “moms” took her in and nursed her back to health. They couldn’t bear to let her enter the pork industry; instead, they persuaded the petting-zoo operator to relinquish her to Farm Sanctuary’s Southern California Shelter. |

Templeton was found wandering the streets of Los Angeles; he’d likely escaped slaughter at one of the city’s live markets. He came to Farm Sanctuary to start a happy new life, and he’s now thriving with his bird friends at our Northern California Shelter, where he loves to show off his impressive crowing skills. |
