Join us for New York State Humane Lobby Day
On Wednesday, March 24, animal advocates from all over New York will gather in Albany to meet their legislators and demand real change for animals! Register today and let your legislators know that you want them to act with compassion.
Join us to lobby for two crucial pieces of legislation that would ban horrific acts of cruelty against farm animals. The first, A8163, nicknamed “Nikki’s Law” after a rescued sow living at our New York Shelter, would prohibit the use of battery cages for egg-laying hens, gestation crates for breeding pigs and veal crates for calves. The second, A09732, would prohibit the cruel and unnecessary docking of dairy cows’ tails. Your legislators need to hear from you about these historic bills.
