Host a Party to Help Farm Animals
On Sunday, January 31, Farm Sanctuary members will come together throughout New York in support of our farm animal protection efforts, which include our advocacy for one of the most important pieces of farm animal legislation ever introduced in the state.
Sponsored by Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal, A08163 would ban battery cages for egg-laying hens, veal crates for calves and gestation crates for breeding pigs. Rosenthal has dubbed the bill “Nikki’s Law” in honor of a pig who was formerly confined in a gestation crate but now lives happily at our New York Shelter.
Invite your friends over for a house party to hear about this historic bill and to raise funds necessary for our continuing work to help farm animals. Farm Sanctuary will provide you with all the resources you need to plan your party, and you will have the opportunity to create a personalized Web page from which you can send out invitations and monitor your guest list. Please sign up to host a party today!
