No Walk for Farm Animals scheduled in your community? Busy that day? Walking just not your thing?
If this describes you, but you still want to participate in Farm Sanctuary’s annual Walk event and help raise funds for farm animals, you’re in luck!
We are very excited to announce that now there is a way for you to get involved and show your compassion without taking to the streets through our virtual “No-Walk” Walk.
Signing up for our “No-Walk” Walk is easy. Just go to firstgiving.com/farmsanctuary and click on “Get Started.” Then, select the “No-Walk” Walk from the top of the list. Follow the instructions to set up your own fundraising page, which you will use to spread the word about Farm Sanctuary’s Walk for Farm Animals and solicit lifesaving donations from friends, colleagues, family members, and everyone in your e-mail address book! If you’d prefer to raise money offline, download our paper form.
There’s no registration fee for the “No-Walk” Walk, and you’ll be eligible for incentive prizes for reaching fundraising milestones! This year’s prizes are:
$100-level: Farm Sanctuary magnet
$250-level: Farm Sanctuary eco-travel mug
$500-level: Signed paperback copy of Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food by Gene Baur
So, even if the nearest Walk is thousands of miles away, you can still join our 2009 community of walkers. Each dollar you raise will help us bring relief to suffering farm animals.
